It’s like some insane landslide of emotional devastation. She moves from adorably happy to confused, to terrified, to utterly broken, to embarrassed, to a cover smile to suppress it all in the space of a minute. As she conjures this story to justify it for Peter, contrasting herself with the other Olivia as someone with a full-life, everything inside me just dies. ALL THE AWARDS. #it’s the fact that she’s embarrassed that always gets me. that her first line is ‘does everyone know?’ #it’s so human and right for that moment and yet it seems so unexpected that yet again i’m so proud of this show for going there and staying true to this wonderful woman
